An example of map writing - W1

The maps demonstrate the different of seaside resort of Templeton in the period between 1990 and 2005. A quick glance at the maps reveals that , this resort experienced the most significant replacement with small houses and trees being demolishing over the years.

To specify , in the north , there used to be many trees and small houses in 1990 which disappeared gradually and were replaced to give way to park and stadium in 2005. However , a lake was still there after around a decade.

Meanwhile , in the south , The proportion of industrialization was motivated dramatically . For instance , while  the first period witnessed the emergence of many trees and small houses , the latter one underwent the destruction of them , followed by the mushrooming of factories,warehouse and skyscrapers .  Nevertheless , although small houses and some trees disappeared in 2005 , a school and an airport still remain unchanged.

To conclude , It is clear that this resort became more modern , but less environment friendly over the years.
