An example of task 1.

The table illustrates the quantity of cars per hour using in three roads outside the city from 1993 to 2002. In general , LongLane surpassed other roads in the number of cars in most periods.
To specify , HaperLane experienced a significant rise from 82 in 1993 to a peak of 915 cars in 1998 ,before  a pluge to around 190 cars in the final year . However , there was a slight fluctuation between 600 and 700 cars for the first 6 years , followed by a substantial climb to the highest point of 911 cars in 1999 and a stable trend in the final years in Great York way.
In LongLane , by comparision , the figure considerably increased from the lowest point of 400 in 1993 to a high of 1400 cars in 2002 , except the year 1997  . It is noticeable that only in 1997 did 3 roads reveal nearly the same figure of cars using per hour . Besides , thanks to the introduction of traffic calming was a significant drop seen in the number of cars in Happer Lane.
